this cult is getting really shameless.

the wt study was always supposed to be for discussion of 'the deep truths' of the bible.

the wt may have always been filled with utter nonsense, but at least it had the appearance of a topical discussion of bible doctrine.

it wasn't my preferred method of leaving but at least i'm as far as i can be from this cult.

over 2 years ago i've tried to fade out but i guess i did it too drastically.

i live in nyc so the entire territory is walkable and everybody in the congregation live pretty close by.

True dat and very well put. This site has taught me shed fulls of stuff that i didnt even know i didnt know. I would very likely still be a JW drone if it wasnt for this place.

It's the green legs and one squiffy eye that does it.

I dont have the patience to type out long responses very often, so they tend to be short and to the point, and that makes me sound blunt and grumpy. I usually am when the fundie cult drones turn up here spouting their drivel like we havent all heard it 100 times before.

I would guess it is just a turn of phrase for a door to door campaign and nothing more.

However if you dig into the bodies mentioned and the paper trail does indeed lead to WTBTS then it would be "something more".
